No. We do not have the space to board owned pets.

Burke County no longer requires a county license for pets.

3. Can I purchase a microchip for my own animal at the Burke County Animal Shelter?

No. We do not offer this service.

4. Do you scan animals for microchips?

Yes, all animals that come into our shelter are scanned for microchips.
