Sheriff Hinceman recently attended the North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association Annual Legislative Day in Raleigh, NC. Legislative Day is an important opportunity for Sheriff Hinceman to meet with our legislators, Representative Hugh Blackwell, and Senator Warren Daniel, and discuss the law enforcement issues which are most important to our citizens.
As an elected official, I know how important it is to listen to the citizens who elected me. My hope is that my participation in the Association’s Legislative Day will encourage legislators to keep the Office of Sheriff, public safety issues, and the law enforcement profession at the forefront of their agenda as we move through the remainder of this legislative session. I appreciate Representative Hugh Blackwell and Senator Warren Daniel for taking time to discuss these issues with me.
