Valdese Public Library to Close for a Day for Building Improvements
The Valdese Public Library will be closed on Tuesday, July 16, so that the permanent power connection between the new addition and the existing building can be made. Please see the library’s website for additional information at bcpls.org or call the library at 874-2421.
The renovation of the existing library building has begun and will continue for the next few months. During that time there will be additional closures which the library will announce promptly. Every effort will be made to keep the closures to a minimum. Some of the interior renovations to the existing building include painting, new lights, replacing the ceilings, some new flooring, and reconfiguring public and staff areas.
