The Burke County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on December 15, 2020 in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room, Burke Co. Services Building, Door E, 110 N. Green Street in Morganton. At this meeting public comments regarding the following zoning matter will be accepted:
ZMA 2020-04 Lacy and Ashley Williams wish to rezone a parcel of land totaling 9.84 acres. The request is to rezone the vacant property on Rhodhiss Road from its current zoning of Residential Three (R-3) to the Industrial (IND) zoning district. The applicant would like to establish a contractor’s office and storage yard at this location for their existing asphalt striping business.
