The Burke County Board of Adjustment will hold a Public Meeting at 6:00 PM on June 9, 2020 in the Commissioners Meeting Room/County Services Building located at 110 N. Green St. in Morganton, NC (Door E). At the meeting they will take public comment regarding the following matters:
SUP 2020-04 (Kenton & Crystina Pike, Applicants) Request for a special use permit to construct a 40x60 foot accessory roof/cover for a residential swimming pool at 3611 Crestwood Drive (PIN # 1792233734) of Burke County.
SUP 2020-05 (Terry Donnell, Applicant) Request for a special use permit to operate and establish a Family Recreation Area for 36.11 acres of property addressed as 199 Crestwood Avenue (PIN # 1792454719) of Burke County.
SUP 2020-06 (SECU/Toby Hartsell, Applicant) Request for a special use permit to retain a 2,738 square foot accessory building for personal storage use on property addressed as 637 Old NC 18 (PIN # 2712053963) of Burke County.
SUP 2020-07 (Jerry Beck Jr., Applicant) Request for a special use permit to establish and operate an automobile sales office in General Business property addressed as 1437 North Powerhouse Road (PIN # 1764550511) of Burke County.
The meeting will be an IN PERSON MEETING. No virtual meeting will be held.
There will be 22 seats available to the public. Seating has been arranged at a distance of 6 feet from all angles, with equal spacing for each board member and member of the public present. In an effort to best manage COVID-19 concerns, masks are encouraged to be worn by all in attendance.
