Antibody and COVID-19 Testing Location Change

Morganton, NC – Due to the overwhelming response of interested residents, the testing location has been changed. On Friday, May 22, Psalms/Solid Rock Family Medicine will be conducting a first come first serve drive thru COVID-19 ANTIBODY testing clinic from 9am – 5pm at Patton High School (this is the location change). Antibody testing is not appropriate for anyone who is experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19. This antibody test is FDA/EUA approved.

On Friday May 29 and Friday, June 5, Psalms/Solid Rock Family Medicine will hold a first come first serve drive thru COVID-19 testing clinic from 9am – 5pm at Patton High School. Burke County residents who are symptomatic, a known contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or a high-risk or immunocompromised individual are invited to attend.

Directional signs will be posted for an orderly traffic flow. Please be sure to follow the directions, and we respectfully request your patience during this process.

All testing may take 2-5 days for results. Those who receive a COVID-19 test (for symptomatic patients) are required to self-isolate (stay at home and do not go out for any reason) until the test produces a negative result. These patients will also need to self-isolate from others within their homes until the test produces a negative result in order to prevent the potential spread of the virus within their own homes.

For more information contact Cindy Biddix at 828-438-1117.
