Construction is finished, and the road is now paved. Burke County is working on plans for the first trailhead for the Fonta Flora State Trail near the entrance of Fonta Flora County Park. While there will be very few visible signs of progress at the site, updates will be provided as planning work is being completed and funding for program elements is secured.
